Thanks as ever, Elizabeth, for this great collection of links. I’m immediately drawn to the one about suspension of disbelief. I’m one who really dislikes doing that, but it’s good to learn how to write in ways that invite readers to suspend disbelief. We have to remember that our readers may read in different ways to the way we do.

Margot–There was a post once (I want to say it was Scalzi) that said that readers could suspend disbelief for 3 times in a story (more, obviously, for a genre like fantasy, but in fantasy we’re setting up an entire world that doesn’t play by the same rules). Asking readers to suspend for more than 3 instances puts our story in peril, he thinks.

Thanks for including two of my links Elizabeth. I love your Twitter lists. They always introduce me to new bloggers I’m not following and feature posts I otherwise probably wouldn’t come across. :)
