Below are the writing-related links I tweeted last week.
The free Writer’s Knowledge Base search engine, designed by software engineer and writer Mike Fleming, makes all these links (now over 14,000) searchable. The WKB recently celebrated its one-year anniversary.

Elizabeth – Yet more excellent resources! Thanks as ever for this treasure trove.
Impossible to read them all, but they are wonderful to dip into!
I especially love seeing self-publishers who reject publishing contracts because they feel they can do better on their own ;)
Networking with being obnoxious – that’s the trick, isn’t it?
Thanks Elizabeth! Lots of goodies on here :)
Margot–Thanks for coming by!
Alex–It’s a trick, for sure!
Dorte–That’s a good post. :)
I wouldn’t call them jerks, but I have met a few big name authors in need of some people skills. There’s a big difference between formal training and being authentic.
Blog comments dying? Not on Alex’s blog, that’s for sure.
I have time to explore on a Sunday and I’m going to do just that. Thank you, Elizabeth.
Jemi–Thanks!
Diane–Alex’s blog is amazing! It’s funny…I’ve seen 2 different posts in the past couple of weeks on comments on blogs. For most blogs, it seems the traffic is very strong, but the comments are down.
Happy exploring!
I like the post on why writers should care about indie stores. Indie stores know a lot of people, including people at newspapers and other media venues. Oh yes, they can recommend, for better or worse, a local author.
As usual, thanks for these!
