These lists are always a treasure to go through. Just want you to know how much they are appreciated :-) Thanks.
Elizabeth – Thanks as ever for this mini-course of links. I saw about half a dozen that I want to visit right now. The one that discusses using dialogue is calling my name… :-)
NetFlix can make me a better writer? Awesome!
Writers reviewing their own books on Amazon? Sad enough when authors review their own books on Goodreads.
Thanks so much for coming by, y’all. I appreciate you!
So many great blogs for what I need right now. Thanks!
I taught Creative Writing at a small liberal arts college–Grinnell College. The advice to put a timer on was crucial. I always suggested one of those old-fashioned kitchen egg timers, not something already on your laptop. It really helped the students who actually wanted to finish a project…but many students thought they were above it. I think the timer is about accountability. I’m writing a novel now–my first mystery–and that’s still what I do!
What a wonderfully comprehensive list! I’m going to take a look at these links you’ve offered. :) Thanks so much for it! I’ve been reading your blog for a while now, not really commenting but staying in the shadows, and I have to say, you offer some excellent advice. And I love your barbeque mysteries!
