Elizabeth – Once again, a treasure trove of helpful links. Thanks so much!!!
Thanks for all the great links! I’ve subscribed to more blogs now, though. How do you manage?
Oh. My. God. This is so overwhelming to me, Elizabeth. Would you consider writing a tutorial and how to use twitter effectively. When I get on, all I see are tweets from people I don’t care a fig about and who tweet about things I don’t care a fig about. Oy.
Karen
Thank you so much for putting links on your blog. So helpful. I wonder if I could call in sick today and bask in this wonderful knowledge?
Great links!
The anti procrastination tools are useful both for writers and scientists, I think >:)
Cold As Heaven
I’m in awe…
Fabulous links. I’ve clicked on so many, I need another cup of coffee before I start reading.
Helen
Straight From Hel
You are on Twitter far more than I – LOL!
I love Twitterific! Thanks for doing this every week!!!
Uhhh, I feel overwhelmed. I need to spend a long time here, because there are ALOT of these I need to go check out. Thanks for doing this. Soo informative. :)
Wow. There are so many great links; I can’t read them all now. But I have bookmarked a few of the ones I have read. Since I don’t tweet, thanks for reposting here.
Elizabeth, thank you so much for the mention!
And thank you, also, for making my head explode. I’ll certainly be following your blog from now on. In protective headgear.
Margot–You’re so welcome! :)
Lorel–I think my Google Reader is at 1600 blogs now. But I’ve gotten really good at skimming for content.
Karen–I think Tweet Deck is a good way to organize your feed by favorites. I have a Tweet Deck account, but usually just ignore my feed…I check in on my @ replies and DMs.
Teresa–It’s Friday! Sounds like a great day to have taken off. :)
Cold as Heaven–That’s been a recurring theme the last couple of weeks, I’ve noticed. Must be a lot of writers (and maybe scientists?) dealing with it!
Alex–Thanks. :)
Helen–Can we make that another round of coffee for all of us?
Diane–I am, for sure! But I don’t linger there…just do my thing and get off. I spend a LOT of time on Google Reader, but then it takes a while to load them to Twitter.
Laura–You’re so welcome! :)
Lisa–Or you know where they are if you want to come back to them later…I’m definitely leaving them all up.
Blogger Jaleh–You’re welcome! Yes, I’d just bookmark them…they’re a little overwhelming. :)
Victoria–Thanks for the great links. :) And yes, wear your hard hat on Fridays at this blog!
Wow! Must have taken you a long time to write this. Do you have a short cut for hyperlinks? Me, I do each individual link by plugging in the Web address and Web site name or author name manually into the HTML code and then copy and pasting it into the blog.
Stephen Tremp
Hi Stephen– I use tinyurl or bit.ly (mostly bit.ly), but Social Oomph will actually truncate the links for you if you’re tweeting the links. :)
Thanks for your consistently great links. You save me a boatload of surfing time each week!
Impossible to read them all, but wonderful to dip into all these treasures!
