Twitterific Writing Links

by Elizabeth S. Craig, @elizabethscraigBlog

Twitterific links are fed into the Writer’s Knowledge Base search engine (developed by writer and software engineer Mike Fleming) which has over 23,000 free articles on writing related topics. It’s the search engine for writers.

Quick note of congratulations to a past guest blogger here, translator Julie Rose, on the release of a trade paperback version of The Greenland Breach (written by Bernard Besson).

Some great links! Picking one’s genre is one I needed when I began, as I knew nothing of sub-genres.

    1. Alex–I think it takes a while to get the hang of the subgenre thing.

  2. Margot KinbergMay 4, 2014

Elizabeth – As always, thanks for such helpful links. So much to mine here! One of the things this list of links is reminding me is that as writers, we have to balance our love of writing with an understanding that marketing ourselves and our books matters. Touch balance to achieve.

    1. Margot–That’s exactly right…modern writers have got to engage online–even though it can be tough for us (since most/many of us are introverts).

I liked what the article about the backwards way to self-publishing had to say. Bottom line, it’s a business.

Diane–It sure is. I enjoyed that post, too.

  4. Julie MusilMay 10, 2014

Oh, so much great stuff here. I’m checking out the keywords and category posts. Thanks for all your hard work, Elizabeth, and thanks for the mention!
