A weekly roundup of the best writing links from around the web.
Twitterific writing links are fed into the Writer’s Knowledge Base search engine (developed by writer and software engineer Mike Fleming) which has over 39,000 free articles on writing related topics. It’s the search engine for writers.
Hope all of my American readers have a Happy Thanksgiving this week! I’ll be taking the week off from posting in observance of the holiday, and will be back next Sunday.

Thanks, as ever, for these links, Elizabeth. And I really do love the way they’re all sorted by topic. Makes it so easy to find what you’re looking for – and there’s a lot to love here! Have a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!
Margot–Thanks! Same to you, Margot!
I love the breakdown now. So easy to find a topic.
Diane–I like it, too. And it’s nice not to have to do the categorization manually for the post.
Hi Elizabeth, I’m a fan of your helpful blog and Twitterific. I love the breakdown into topics. So helpful. Thanks for all the work you do to make my writing life so much better.
Wishing you all the best in your writing projects!
Thanks so much for the kind words, Heather! Hope you have a great week. :)
Apparently I’m the only one who finds the new format incredibly difficult to scan. I used to be able to slide my eyes down the matching formats of the posts and pick out what I’m interested in. Now the outdented headings break the flow and I have to slow down and read every line.
Joel–That’s fixable, of course. Do you think that removing the tweet indents below the headings would help skim?
I believe it would, though you certainly shouldn’t break the format for everyone else. I don’t know whether that helps others a lot, or if it’s simply the presence of any headings at all.
