Twitterific Writing Links

by Elizabeth S. Craig, @elizabethscraigBlog

Twitterific links are fed into the Writer’s Knowledge Base search engine(developed by writer and software engineer Mike Fleming) which has over 23,000 free articles on writing related topics. It’s the search engine for writers.

I’m hoping that there is no overlap or repetition in this particular edition of Twitterific. I’m having technical issues, unfortunately, and had to switch from SocialOomph to HootSuite for tweet scheduling. And now I’ve apparently broken HootSuite!  The downloading of my archived tweets didn’t work (I have a ticket started with them), so this is my best attempt to reconstruct last week’s activity.

Have a great week!

Fantasy fiction safe? They certainly can’t mean the easy thing to write.

    1. Elizabeth S. CraigFebruary 9, 2014

Yes, that was an interesting post and seemed to lead to some discussion when I shared it. I think the author was hoping writers of fantasy would push the boundaries a little bit and shake things up instead of going with a “safer,” strictly commercial approach.

Elizabeth – I’m sorry to hear about your technical troubles. That sort of thing is so annoying isn’t it? Thanks for this week’s links, as ever. I love it that you’ve included a study about the value of reading. Research has shown that connection between reading and mental strength for a while. And it’s good to hear the TBR list has value, because mine never stops growing.

Oh it has been so annoying. Ugh. I know I’ve got links that are not reflected on this weeks’ Twitterific and I’m sorry, everybody! Let me know if yours was left out and I’ll fix it.

My TBR list sounds like yours!

  3. Julie MusilFebruary 9, 2014

Yay for more links and more opportunities to learn. Thanks, Elizabeth!

  4. Ashly LorenzanaFebruary 18, 2014

    Hi there Elizabeth,

Thanks so much for including a link to my blog post on how to get reviews by loaning your Kindle books. You have some great reading here for authors, I’ve bookmarked several of them to check out later. Nice work!

    -Ashly
